DAYDREAM COLLECTION

I made these shirts in the spring while New York was in lockdown. I was getting paid to stay home so my time was mine to do the things I love. I woke up with the sun. Journaled, meditated, and stretched through the morning. Called friends. Learned to play guitar. Volunteered at food banks. But mostly, I sewed. Alone in my studio or basement, a book-on-tape always playing (How To Change Your Mind, The End of Policing, and Octavia Butler’s Earthseed Series, most notably), daydreaming of other futures.
